Mahibere Hiwot for Social Development strengthened its partnership in Debre Birhan through strategic discussions and targeted capacity-building support.

MSD’s Executive Director, Tilaye Gizachew, met with the Debre Birhan Women, Children and Social Affairs Office and the City Education Department to reinforce collaboration on the Child Protection and Education project.
W/ro Beletish Girma praised MSD’s strong engagement and its impact on vulnerable children in the three IDP host communities. Tilaye reaffirmed MSD’s commitment to supporting government efforts.

MSD also met with the Education Department leadership to review progress and deepen cooperation. W/ro Mekides Bizuneh expressed appreciation for MSD’s continued support.

To enhance service delivery, MSD provided desktop computers, tables, chairs, shelves and stationery. Both offices welcomed the support, noting its role in filling critical gaps and improving their capacity to serve children and families.
