Mahibere Hiwot for Social Development (MSD) and UNICEF Forge New Partnership to Protect Crisis-Affected Children

Mahibere Hiwot for Social Development (MSD) proudly announces the signing of a new partnership cooperative agreement with UNICEF. This strategic collaboration will drive the launch of a critical project dedicated to safeguarding crisis-affected children from violence, exploitation, abuse, neglect, and harmful practices. The project will extend support to vulnerable groups in Amhara Region North Gojjam and Awi Zones, specifically targeting Bahir Dar Zuria, Merawi, Guagusa Shikudad, and Chagni Woredas.

Spanning nine months, the initiative will prioritize protection and multipurpose case management, addressing the most pressing needs of affected communities. Generously funded with $360,000 USD by FCDO , the project will implement effective, on-the-ground interventions designed to create meaningful and sustainable change.

This partnership exemplifies MSD’s steadfast commitment to improving the well-being of vulnerable populations and enhancing social protection systems.
