Empowering Communities: MSD and Heineken Ethiopia’s Launch Livelihood Project Supporting 75 Households

In the bustling streets of Koyefetche and Killinto , Ethiopia Mahiberehiwot for Social Development (MSD) and Heineken Ethiopia come together to launch a transformative livelihood project. Collaborating with the Akaki Kality Sub-City Administration and Koyefeche Sub-City under Sheger City, this initiative marks a significant milestone in uplifting 75 households in the Killinto and Koyefeche communities through a 33 million ETB investment.

The initiative focuses on animal fattening and food processing, aiming to improve household incomes and promote sustainable community development. The impact of this project is not just seen in numbers but felt in the heartfelt words of one of the project’s beneficiaries

The handover ceremony was attended by senior officials, including Mr. Tilaye Gizachew, Founder & Executive Director of MSD; Mr. William, Delegate Managing Director of Heineken Ethiopia; Mr. Fekadu Bashah, Sustainability, External & Government Affairs Manager at Heineken Ethiopia; and Mr, Tollawake head of Koyefeche Sub-City.
